Career and Internship Opportunities in Cyber and Homeland Defence

We have openings for junior researchers and interns in the Cyber and Homeland Defence Programme (CHDP) of the Centre of Excellence for National Security (CENS).

The Centre’s areas of research include cybersecurity strategy, cybersecurity policy and law, international law and norms of cyber operations, smart city cybersecurity, surveillance and privacy, disinformation, foreign interference, technology policy, and other related national security topics. 

CENS is part of the S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, an independent think tank and graduate school located in at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

If you are accepted, you will participate in co-writing commentaries, op-eds, and policy reports, co-organizing webinars with international experts, and carrying out cutting edge analysis and research into the national security issues at the intersection of technology, law, and public policy. Our former interns and researchers have gone on to serve in government, in public policy divisions of major technology companies, and in international organizations. 

To apply, you should have a keen interest in one or more of our areas of research, and suitable academic or relevant work experience related to one or more of these fields: strategy, policy, law, cybersecurity, data science, economics, psychology, communications, or technology.
