The Cyber and Homeland Defence Programme (CHDP) contributed to thought leadership across a wide array of inter-related research areas. This included
- writing chapters in the Routledge Handbook of International Cybersecurity and HTBSC's How to Prepare for the Next Pandemic,
- collaborating with industry on the policy report Cyber-Risk Management of Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems,
- publishing topical commentaries on Solarwinds (cyber breach) and Cyber Diplomacy
- as well as Smart Nation: Privacy Protection and Public Trust (Trace Together)
- and Tik Tok and National Security,
- building on the annual DRUMS (Distortions Rumours Untruths Misinformation Smears) webinar
- to launch a new specialisation Gender, Security and Digital Space webinar series,
- developing more recent fields such as Technology Nationalism and Artificial Intelligence Strategy,
- while preserving the long standing focus on international law of cyber operations by presenting papers at the CSCAP Study Group, NADI, and NATO CCD COE Symposium.
